Important Notices
Welcome back to Term 4!
- Kiwi Morning Tea - please bring cakes etc. to the foyer on Friday morning, and money to spend on cakes and games at morning tea time.
- Zoo Trip - Tuesday 31st October. Please remember to wear closed-toe shoes, uniform and hat. Bring a big lunch (lots of walking around at the zoo) and a drink bottle. Students do not need money as we won't be visiting the shop or buying anything from the cafes.
- Remember Term 4 is a hat term. Children will need hats to be able to play outside at break times. Must be a blue or black Torbay School hat.
- Library day is now on a Monday. Please remind students to put library books in the blue basket by the door.
- Please encourage children to bring notebooks to school everyday and their Poetry folders back after the weekend.

I hope you have all had a happy and healthy break and are ready for a fun term 4.
This term we are focusing on science and will be completing a number of science activities including learning about animal habitats. As part of our learning on this subject we will be going on a trip to Auckland Zoo. Notice will come home about this in Week 1 of term.
Term 4 is a 9 week term, starting on Monday 16th October and ending on Friday 15th December.
There is a new Oral Language timetable for this term which can be viewed under the Oral Language tab above - our first week back is talking about our holidays.
We value your feedback, so please feel free to leave a comment, as the children love to hear what you think of their successes.
At the end of last year, the children named our new class mascot - Fluffy the puppy. Please keep a look out for him as he could arrive home with your child on any Friday during the year to have some fun.

General Notices
- Please enter the class room up the stairs near Room 23 this term.
- Please encourage your child to unpack their bags - brain food, drink bottles and book bags in the correct places and put their bag in their cubby before going off to play in the morning. This helps start our day off and keeps our classroom a safe place.
